In 2013, I went to the All-Ukrainian competitions for the first time, they were very important for me, they made me realize that I wanted to devote my life to this. In 2014, I went to the European Championships, and my professional career began in June. The first fight was easy, and in the second I fought against the strongest member of the Russian team. It was difficult for me, but I managed to win by unanimous decision. This year I lost the Ukrainian Championship, but I'm not upset. Now I have an external independent evaluation, an admission, it's hard to combine. In 2018, the Youth Olympic Games will begin, I am determined and ready to win

When I was a kid, I couldn't decide for a long time what kind of sport I wanted to play, if any. I was interested in both football and basketball. However, my father's words were decisive. It was he who inspired me to take up boxing and eventually make it my career. I remember my first fight, which I was looking forward to. Without sports, I would have been a completely different person. When the winners of the Klitschko Brothers tournament were announced, I was very nervous. But when my name was called, I was so happy and full of emotions that I couldn't say a word.

When I decided to start training athletes, it was not my job. It was more like a hobby. For the first five years, I taught boxing to young athletes and trained myself at the same time. But for 10 years now, I have been a full-fledged mentor for boxers. Young boxers need to be shown their own path of defeats and victories. This way they see a real-life example to be inspired by and strive for. Sometimes losses break boxers. They lose the desire to continue their journey in the sport. So coaches should remind them that climbing the sports Olympus is a long process, and it is impossible without defeats.
