The first School of Resilience of this summer has officially begun. Teenagers from across Ukraine have gathered in Zakarpattia region for an eight-day program designed to help them develop essential life skills, gain a deeper understanding of themselves, and learn how to turn their ideas into meaningful initiatives in their communities.

Throughout the program, participants will take part in lectures and workshops on media literacy, project management, legal literacy, sex education, and public speaking. They will also meet with experts, work on their own community projects, and participate in both group and individual sessions with psychologists. A strong emphasis is placed on building psychological resilience, strengthening teamwork, and helping young people recognize their own strengths.

“Today, Ukrainian teenagers need inner resilience, confidence in themselves, and the understanding that they have the power to shape the future of their country,” said Angelina Osadcha, CEO of Klitschko Foundation.

She added that this is why Klitschko Foundation creates spaces where young people gain practical skills, find support among like-minded peers, and build the confidence to take action.

A key focus of School of Resilience is the development of participants’ own local projects. Throughout the program, teenagers work in teams to identify the needs of their communities, develop project concepts, and refine their ideas together. At the end of the program, they will present their initiatives to Klitschko Foundation team before bringing them to life in their hometowns.
